Privacy policy

What we collect

When you create an account we store:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number, if you choose to give one
• a one-way hash of your password — never the password itself

When you place an order we additionally store the delivery address and the contents of the order. For personalised products, that includes the text, image or design file you upload — we keep it only to produce and fulfil that order, and to reprint it if you ever ask for a replacement. Card and UPI details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers.

Cookies we set

• A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. It is httpOnly, so scripts cannot read it, and it is rotated every time it is used.
• A cart cookie, so a bag you fill before signing in is still there afterwards.
• Google Analytics cookies, which tell us which pages are used and which are not.

We do not store your access token, your personal details, or your cart in your browser’s local storage. The only things kept there are which section you were browsing and a couple of display preferences.

Why we collect it

To take payment, produce and deliver your order, let you sign back in, and answer you when you contact support. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the payment gateway and the courier who has to deliver your parcel.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely — rights available to you under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Email support@nomadnation.in from the address on the account and we will action it. Deleting an account does not remove invoices we are legally required to retain, or remove a design file already used to produce an order that’s still in progress.

Children

This site isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email support@nomadnation.in and we will remove it.

Grievance officer

Under India’s IT Rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, complaints about how we handle your data can be sent to support@nomadnation.in. We aim to acknowledge these within a few working days.
